Sexy Angels in Genesis ?

Sexy Angels in Genesis ?

Most of us have heard of Angels at some point in our lives, to some people they are the little cute ornaments we put on top of the family Christmas tree, to others they are divine beings mentioned in the biblical texts sent from heaven with wings and white dresses to look after good Christians that need help, but how many of you have heard of Angels that want sex?

1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

That the sons of God (bene Elohim – הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙ בְּנֵ֤יsaw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

And the Lord said, my spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

There were GIANTS (Nephilim – הַנְּפִלִ֞יםin the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men (הַגִּבֹּרִ֛ים), which were of old, men of renown.

So is the bible stating that before the days of Noah, there lived on this planet, GIANTnon-human beings called Nephilim, which impregnated some of the prettier females of the increasing human race, and then these human women gave birth to hybrid children who were bigger or stronger than normal human beings?

So that there is no mistaking the term “sons of God” for being just a pious title bestowed upon some human priests or group of holy people, let me draw your attention to the fact that some manuscripts of the Septuagint have footnotes advising the reader to understand the term “sons of God” as to mean “Angels”. In the Codex Alexandrinus we see that the words “sons of God” has also been omitted and replaced by the word “Angels”. The Codex Vaticanus also originally contained the word “angels”.

So why did the earlier versions of the bible use the word Angels? and why did later church authorities change the English translation to “Sons of God?”. If you read the same verse with the word Angels instead of Sons of God you instantly see the ramifications which the later catholic bibles were trying to avoid…

And after that men began to be multiplied upon the earth, and daughters were born to them.

The Angels seeing the daughters of men, that they were fair, took themselves wives of all which they chose.

And God said: My spirit shall not remain in man forever, because he is flesh, and his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.

Now giants were upon the earth in those days. For after the Angels went in to the daughters of men and they brought forth children, these are the mighty men of old, men of renown.

I then thought to ask whether the Hebrew words Bene Elohim / Bnei HaElohim occur anywhere else in the old testament? and if they do, what was their intended contextual meaning in these other instances? Were the Hebrew words Bene Elohim describing a group of Angels or a group of Devout Humans?

I found that apart from appearing twice in Genesis 6:2, 6:4, the Hebrew words Bene Elohim also appear three times in the book of Job, 1:6, 2:1, 38:7. In my opinion the 3 verses in the book of Job definitely refer to Angelic Beings.

In this verse from Job 2:1 we can clearly see that the Hebrew words Bene Elohim are being used to describe the sons of god in an Angelic context, the fallen angel satan is also present!

Job 2:1 (King James Bible)

1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.

…when we read the Hebrew version of Job 2:1 we see the Hebrew words Bene Elohim written exactly the same as they appear in Genesis 6:4…

Job 2:1 (Orthodox Jewish Bible)

1 Again there was a day when the Bene Elohim came to present themselves before Hashem, and Hasatan came also among them to present himself before Hashem.

So, yes the Hebrew term Bene Elohim as used twice in the book of Genesis, is used again in the old testament in the book of Job, where it is used three times to describe a group of Angels. So Genesis 6:4 is basically saying that a group of Angels had physical sex with a selection of human women who bore them special children.

We are raised to believe Angels are non-physical spiritual entities, but Genesis 6 implies that they were / are physical beings and more than that, their DNA must have been compatible with our human DNA, because how else could their sexual exploits have resulted in them fathering children with human women?

If this is the correct way to understand the meaning of this biblical verse, I am extremely baffled as to why something as important as Angels breeding with humans is only mentioned ONCE in a book as large as the Old Testament?

If God’s angels did indeed go native with a few good looking earth woman, then surely there should be more than just 4 little lines tucked away in the book of Genesis to highlight this amazing event?

Has someone in our past attempted to hide this story? Are there any other ancient texts that relate a similar story of heavenly visitors having sex with humans?

Well some of you may be aware of the once lost “Book of Enoch”, which seems to expand the story hinted at in Genesis. The book of Enoch was reintroduced to Europe from Ethiopian sources by James Bruce of Kinnaird in approx 1770, and then its contents were reconfirmed later in 1947 when…

“…the remnants of several almost complete copies of The Book of Enoch, written in Aramaic, were found among the Dead Sea Scrolls. All but one of the five major components of the Ethiopic anthology were also found among the dead sea scrolls. But even more intriguing is the fact that additional, previously unknown texts about Enoch were also discovered at Qumran. The most important of these is The Book of Giants.

The book of Enoch tells of a group of 200 Watchers or Angels who come down to planet earth to primarily teach and direct the human race, but they end up shagging their choice of the female population, and getting in hot water with the leader of the Angels because of their unscheduled sexual exploits which result in hybrid offspring.

So this little stroll through insanity leads me to ask, “Is there the slightest possibility that the Book of Enoch is referring to the same sexually active Angels mentioned in Genesis 6?”

I always try to avoid mixing stories from the old Hebrew testament with stories from the new Greek testament, but I would just like to point out a little thought provoking similarity between the two; The mother of the prophet Jesus was also visited by an Angel, and this Angel told her she would soon bear a special child…

…is there any possibility that this `Angel’ was involved in the physical impregnation of Mary, whether it be medically or sexually?

Even Greek Mythology supports the idea of beings from the heavens breeding with humans. It is possible that in those times all races witnessed certain events, but interpretation and translation variances, combined with time and personal agendas, have altered facts. This could be making the same story look like several that have conflicting facts, and it causes confusion as to the ONE religion man should follow. But what do I know? I can’t accurately remember what I had for breakfast.

its all just RE- Presentation. Unless an angel comes to me and verifies this fiction, it doesnt exist in any state but Non-Sense.

Thank you for your comment Kenny.

May I ask if you have taken the time to read the Book of Enoch?
Or have you formed your opinion based on inherited ideas without researching the book being discussed?

All religious scriptures contain references to ancient events which were often beyond the descriptive scope of the observer’s lexus of words.

Many religions & cultures retain old stories of some strange and amazing events which happened in the days before Historians existed.

These events were recorded by the WRITERS & SCRIBES of the ancient world who were mostly employed by the various religious authorities and subsequently, most historical records from the past are to be found mixed in with, or blurred by the religious jargon of the religious books in which they appear.

I think it is ignorant for any modern scientifically minded person to dismiss all information recorded by early mankind within the pages of their holy scriptures, solely because he or she does not follow or BELIEVE in the tenets or teachings of those religions.

To date, the missing period of evolutionary progress which resulted in the huge difference between the cranial capacity of homo erectus and the cranial capacity of homo sapien is yet to be explained?

Apart from the Piltdown Man Scam, no evidence of this progression has yet surfaced.

We are taught to accept that one year we had a skull with a volune of just 50CC and then it expanded to 1,500CC.

Is it not plausible that there is no evidence of a gradual progression of evolution to be found, because gradual evolution was not responsible for the expanded capacity of our skulls?

Maybe we are a hybrid of two species? One small headed terrestrial species and the other a big headed tresspassing species from the heavens?

Nobody knows for sure if this did happen? and nobody can state with 100% certainty that this didn’t happen…

…but that would explain why we treat this beautiful planet so badly, ie, if we are mot FULLY part of this ecosystem.

It is true that creatures as diverse as birds, otters & twrmites build homes to live in from materials they find around rhem, but no other creature, out of the millions of species which live on planet earth, builds machines or harnesses energy in the way that humans do.

We are absolutely unique on this planet, and maybe that is because there is a little part of us that does not belong here, a little oart of us that is a long way from home?

reading the book of enoch would be opening myself up to inherited ideas. my position is based on inner reflections leading me to the understanding that men and womb-men are the only ones on the planet running in this direction and then in that direction, creating all the mental illness and hardship we experience.

it is folly to create imaginary angels that you have never seen doing anything to manipulate experience, and say they have a hand in mans sickness. “presume not (angels) to scan, the proper study of mankind is man”. there are only ranchers and livestock here and the queen does not want to have to get in line with the livestock or wait for a tee time while her livestock tees off ahead of her.

those who believe they are the only ones with a soul and the rest of us are beasts are responsible for this so lets leave the angels out of it. if i cant see it, or taste it, or feel it, or touch it, or smell it, then it is non-sense that is being re-presented at the end of the day by another man who read it or was told about it but never experienced it for himself.

The combination “sons of god” = angels is true, there are even some religions saying this. It also is true, that those things happen to the pre-flood society are not only wirtten down by Mose. Stories of beings half human half god you find in many culutures. i.e the babylonian epos of Gilgamesh, Hercules (or other greek hereos and gods) also in Egypt …

Those stories are quite sure based on the remembers of the pre flood time but like many books of those time, that are added by myths and religious ideas. But the basic message of a kind of superhumans of enourmous size and strenght which were often violent, too, is surely true (the violence is mention in genesis, but also if you read the myth of lets say hercules he isn’t the good hero, helps the human like it is presented ins films today, the real ancient sagas contain many thing which would fit to a nephilim (he killed his teacher because the teacher critisized him, he throw a boy from a tower, …)

But some other aspect I wouldn’t agreeing with. You write

    > ecause there is a little part of us that does not belong here,

If you continue reading the bible, after mentioning the Nephilim, there is the story of the flood. If you accept the story of the pre flood-part you also have to accept, what happens next. Noah wasn’t a nephilm, nor his son’s were. The angels seems only have prouced male children (there is no sign, that there were females nephilim, too) so in the complete family of noah, there were no nephilim. Only that 8 people (noah + wife + 3 sons and theire wifes) survived in the ark, so in the gen material of todays society there can’t be an part of that angels, because all nephilim died, an the angel returned back, but were newer allowed to take human bodies again (in contrast to the angel which weren’t an earth they could materialize themself if it was theire task, to bring messages to humans even after flood). But that angels which had the sex with humans were mentioned again in the bible. In contrast to the good angels, they are called “demons” then. Even in the new testament you found them. They can’t make themself human bodies, but they can controll people or even animals. I.E There is a story were Jesus remove some demons from a man, and the demons drive into a herd of pigs and all those pigs then jumped into the sea. So you see, that fallen angels are really bad and they love to destroy and bring pain. In the book of Daniel you can even find, that those angels can controll goverments. This many explain war and many disasters till today.

You may answer, that the nephilim (= the half-human sons of angels) are metioned later in bible again when israelits first should conquer their land, the spions said, they had seen nehilim, and add the “sons of enak”. This was only how the sons of enak seemed to them, because the sons of enak were quite large people, too. But there are long list in the bible who is the father of who and if screen them, you find those “Enak” as a pre flood born, so there was nothing supernatural from pre flood society in his gens.

Ps. Sorry for my bad english, I’m german, and english lesssons where long time ago…

      Hi Daniel,

Please do not apolise for your English, i can understand everything that you expressed.

I would highlight that Noah is the flood survival story of the area known as the Semetic Basin or the east end of the Mediterraean sea.

There are plenty of other flood survival stories all around the world, so I would have an educated guess that Noah’s family were not the only survivors, just as Adam & Eve were not the first people on the planet. These are the Hebrew names of localised heroes of the mediterraean area which were spread to global dominance over the other creation stories and survival myths solely because of their inclusion in the christian bible which is the most printed book in history.

Hi yes my name is Zach I agree with both sides the angels did create giants but I also do think they weren’t the exact same ones that you might be thinking of now (dinosaur for example) however we are a young species and. Therefore tend sometimes cause disasters ( flood war ) but this likewise me wonder if it wasn’t even a flood that caused the so called giants to all die out rather it could have been an extra terrestrial object like a fire 🔥 ball this was kinda even mentioned in the Bible somewhere else (perhaps the same book that spoke of the end of the world like genesis) it should also be noted that even though the book of Enoch was probably ruled out there is some truths to the point how extinction occurred natural or not.
